POST NEWS: Another Holiday season has come and gone, and the officers hope all had a very nice Holiday season.. If you have not heard by now, the Post is a non-smoking facility, this was just issued by the new building inspector and is in force at this time. The e-board will be talking about alternative areas that we can set up out of the building for the smokers, so we don’t lose anyone to the freezing weather. We will be soon looking for volunteers to help wash the walls down, so we can start to paint the lounge. JVC Richard Cameron will be running meat raffles once a month on the last Friday of the month as soon as we work out the bugs, watch the web-site for further info. We will be having monthly meat raffles when we can set up some times so please watch the bulletin for more info. Don’t forget the super-bowl pool, time is running out. We have been talking about something being done for St Patrick’s day this year, I will talk to Richard at this next e-board meeting and see what we can come up with, so stay tuned. Nomination for next years officers is fast approaching, and it is never too early to think about becoming an officer, nominations are in April. If you are interested there are manuals at the Post that can be borrowed so you know what to expect in your chosen endeavor.

FROM THE COMMANDER: We still have a group of military personnel that was on our rolls as members but we are having a difficult time trying to find info on these people to see if they are still in the military on active duty, if anyone knows about these people please let the Adjutant know so we can get their dues paid.
We are also having trouble mailing things to the holding post as some of the mail has never made it to Boston. If you think you have a problem let the Commander of Adjutant know so we can work it out. I would like to thank Commander Coughlin and the SAL for al their help this year, your all doing a great job. The hospital visit in December went really well as Past Commander William Coyle did another great job getting present for all the patients. Chaplain George Lopes dressed as Santa Clause and entertained the patients with some great sets of music. Thanks also to Commander Coughlin of the SAL for his assistance in with the patients and the gifts. Special thanks to HLM Jack Lenoci for the pizza’s, the patients love them. I have been scarce at the Post lately due to the illness that seems to knock me out every winter, not the rumor of my disappearance to a warmer climate.
FROM THE ADJUTANT: January is here as we start a new year, for all those holding a 2011 membership card you are now in arrears and on the first of February you will be delinquent and have no club privileges. If you haven’t paid your dues please do so soon. I f you are having a problem with membership cards please see me so the Commander and myself can get it straightened out. We seemed to have lost some mail that was going to Boston, but we Are trying to fix the situation.
Respectively submitted,
Chris Tracey,
Adjutant, Post 22
